That was the spirit behind the recent bowling fundraiser hosted by Amara Charitable Trust. What felt like a night of friendly competition brought together partners and supporters for a shared purpose: to continue transforming lives through education and community support.

Behind every strike and spare was something bigger, support for programs that improve learning environments, expand school infrastructure, and create opportunities for children across Kenya. Because for Amara, impact isn’t occasional; it’s continuous.

This year’s impact hits the lane like a perfect strike, clean, decisive, and impossible to miss: 37 students will now access Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). From food and beverage production to mechanics, fashion design, and more, these are not just courses, but real steppingstones toward independence, dignity, and sustainable livelihoods.

Over the years, their work has helped shape stronger communities by investing in education, healthcare access, and long-term development. And it’s through events like these that this momentum continues.
